[ A wasteland, is it? Ha- there are plenty of parched trees scattered about for her to not consider it as much. When she's done with it, there will be no life whatsoever- and the resulting radiation fallout would make it uninhabitable for the next score or so. She doesn't see her target just yet, but she scans the land anyways. A city in the distance. Another small fortress on the other side.
The eye on her chest screams for destruction for both settlements- for everything- and power already begins to gather around her. The sky darkens in comparison to her power; the wind's energy redirects to focus on her. It's as if she robs all energy for herself.
Classic boss fight is a go. ]

So far it's moving at top speed across the dunes and shows no sign at all of slowing down - in fact, when one of the smaller rock formations gets in its way, it just busts right through it. Jak's eyesight might not be as great as Okuu's, but she may find a small red dot of light somewhere on her person once he's a bit closer - quickly followed by a crack and a streak of yellow as he fires.
This is Jak, working off the assumption that Okuu still regenerates.]

She merely lifts her finger to the sky, and white dwarf stars radiate in a continuous medium-paced stream from her hand. Even if they are arranged in a simple danmaku pattern, the fact that they're suns alone makes them incredibly dangerous to all surrounding materials, organic or otherwise. 5.79 x 107 km is a good distance to ensure not melting in front of the sun... if you're the size of Mercury. For these little guys, the recommended distance is, well, at least a foot away. Of course that doesn't stop the excess heat and radiation from being given off. Naturally, what she expects to see in this attack's wake is nothing but ash and molten ground. ]

But where's Jak? Well, there's something just barely eclipsing the desert sun; the soft white glow of the shimmering orb is probably lost entirely in the light of Utsuho's attacks. In the center is Jak's light form, wings streaming back.
Midway down, he transforms back to normal, but only for a split second before changing again, his skin and hair going an ashen white and horns growing out of his forehead. He lands as close as the heat will let him with a blast of dark energy, a violet wave crackling with power that radiates out from his landing - impact site, more like, considering how high he fell from.]

What's this...? Horns? Pale skin? Why, he looks just like a special breed of oni. ] Weak-! So very weak! Come at me!

What's more of a problem is the drain on his reserves of Light Eco, because he can already see he's going to have to have a shield up during her attacks even if he dodges the blasts themselves. He shifts back into light form as quickly as he can and constructs the shield again. Maybe if he's really lucky she'll strike deep enough to crack through to an Eco vent.
It'd be nice if he could Flash Freeze as well and have a little more margin to dodge the attacks, but that would drain his Eco even faster.]

haha wrong reply comment
They orbit around her form, spreading out towards him ever so subtly. Needless to say these red giants pack a whole lot more of a punch and demand greater evasive skills. Meanwhile, the white dwarfs continue to emerge from her hand in a circular pattern. ]

Re: haha wrong reply comment
Do you always announce your attacks like that?
[Okay, ow. Talking bad when the air's full of suns. But now he's got the gun out again, with yet a different attachment. If she just gives him the half a second he needs to charge it, she'll find that she's not the only one firing nuclear reactions around. The rocket from the Super Nova may only have the blast radius to equal one of those red giants, but he only needs one, because he can actually aim his.
1/idk i am so sorry
More importantly, she realizes that she doesn't have to call her attacks. ]

The suns continue to circle in the air for a little bit longer before they burst, releasing mighty shock waves in spherical brilliance. ]

and done!
Then, without saying a word she fires a beam of white hot solar plasma. ]
1/several, I'll let you know
First, that if he hadn't said anything she would have continued calling her attacks. And he could have kept dodging. Theoretically, anyway.
Second, that when someone has just demonstrated the ability to create stars, a nuke is probably not going to faze them much.
These realizations hit him a moment before the smoke clears. Thankfully his goggles protected his eyes from the blast and the smoke, and with the ranging, he might just be as good a shot as Okuu, at least at this range. So he sees a beam of plasma heading right for him and drops.]

He shifts back to normal, so now he doesn't have a wing with a hole in it. Unfortunately, he's still burned badly and falling. Burns he can deal with later, falling not so much.]

That doesn't stop him from trying something very risky. He flies in as close as he can and pulses the Jetboard's engine. With any luck he can hit her with the shockwave before the thing overheats.]

He doesn't have anything that can touch her. Unless...]
Finished, finally. I am so sorry.
He flips the Morph Gun over to the Peace Maker. Maybe electricity can do what radiation couldn't. He fires the charged particles at her as he lands again, even knowing he's risking the radiation. He can't shift back to Light Form right now, it'd take too much concentration even if the wing wasn't still blasted away.
Of course, the thing about all the radiation she's firing around is that the air is that it leaves a lot of ions hanging around. So this is going to be a bigger blast than Jak is expecting.]
don't be. this is beautiful.

This doesn't stop it conducting every ounce of heat to him, though, and he actually cries out in pain. He somehow keeps his grip on the Morph Gun, even if the Peacemaker attachment is melted into uselessness.]
2/3 I lied
More importantly, when her shot hit the Peacemaker, it ruptured the ammunition - and Peacemaker clips contain concentrated Dark Eco. Jak feels a rush of strength from somewhere as he absorbs some of it - hurt as he is, it takes a massive effort not to give in to his dark side. The rest of it is left where he was standing a few moments ago, a malevolent glowing mass hovering in midair. Who knows what that would do to Utsuho - or what her weapon hitting it might do?]
3/3
He doesn't have any illusions about her finding him - even if she didn't see where he went, his next action produces a flash of light as he returns to light form. He uses the last of his reserves of Light Eco to heal himself; that's the end of his ability to fly or shield himself, barring a miracle, but at least he's not cooking alive anymore. For the moment.]

Re: 3/3
And then she sees the flash of light that signifies he had transformed. A dune? Really? It's insulting, bringing her here and not putting up a fight like she expected.
Two sirens blare furiously: another warning. ]
no subject
[ She yells out, pointing her cannon right at the dune itself. If he is expecting another sun or blast, she has something else in mind. Suddenly she strikes the ground, sending a nuclear reaction under the sand towards him. Of course the earth cannot contain that energy, so as soon as it gets close to him- doesn't have to be right next to him as sheer proximity would do enough damage- it will erupt into a geyser of white-hot energy. A dune of loose sand and dry rock would collapse into magma and glass in the path of its energy. ]
1/2
As a result, he's only at the very edge of the damage radius for the eruption, so it hurts, but just for the moment he's not much worse off than he was. But at this point he's nearly bursting with dark energy, and with the light almost completely drained. Time to turn and fight.]

...But what this means is that he's definitely within her hit box. Hopefully he's impervious to molten rock in this form, because that's what everything seems to be developing in a 3km radius around her. Even if she's down for the moment as the battle continues, the temperature and pressure of the area steadily increases. In the presence of left over suns, the air must be around 1000 degrees celcius. What that means, of course, is sublimation of blood should he revert. Some sort of attack seems to be building up. ]
no subject
He hurls another dark strike over his shoulder back at her. He definitely has to get away before he reverts, and of course he uses up Eco faster when he attacks.]

The ground quakes beneath her, capable of creating deep fissures along the earth's surface. ]
no subject
[ She spreads her wings- which now appear more like solar flares than anything else. The only form that can be seen is of some bird-like being-- and right now, the figure flies straight towards Jak, destroying anything in its path. Ravens aren't known for their particularly fast dives, but with the added power of a sun she will be upon him in a single second.
She feels... light, as if she is energy itself, and as if it is infinite. She is a sun itself, but she bends its reactions to something she can easily use. This power becomes easy to handle is she simply gives it its nature. Little thought goes through her head. All she wishes for is his and this world's destruction.
She extends a clawed hand out towards the fleeing figure. It doesn't matter if she actually reaches him, for the energy radiating about her extends at least two meters beyond her reach. ]

2/2
Chunks of the glassy surface, all that's left of the desert floor after the heat of her attacks and cracked free by the fissures she created, float in his wake. Projectiles that will melt before they reach her won't do much good, but he's hoping they might slow her down just a little.]
Re: 2/2
This attack will not stop until he's hit. If he doesn't vaporize by a first touch, she'll double back again and again until there's nothing more left of him. ]
no subject
Somehow, he digs up reserves of Light Eco from somewhere deep inside him, managing to throw up a shield - and as much as it might shine, it's a blot of darkness in the middle of the inferno. It won't last long, but it's enough that she'll need one more pass, even if he's forced to his knees when the shield shatters and feels his skin beginning to blacken and crack.]
no subject
The shield only makes her press her attack harder. She bypasses him then, flying upward and arcing dramatically in the air, releasing some excess subs, before plummeting down towards him. The impact itself causes a massive shockwave of flares and fire, causing a ripple of small earthquakes. The inferno now spreads miles across the land, and both the sea and the salt within it are boiling away, making the air poisonous to breathe for any creature. ]
no subject
Not that he has even the minimal control over her actions that her chasing him granted anymore. By the time of the impact, he's already burned to a cinder, and the collision itself just atomizes whatever was left of him, driving it down into the molten bedrock. Hopefully she'll be bored with it now and leave; if he managed to keep her from vaporizing Haven and Spargus, he'll be happy.
His only regret is dying on his knees.]
